Performance Updates
January, 2012
BKS Index Balanced benchmark portfolio performance was up 4.92% year-to-date through January, 2012. BKS Fund / 401-k performance in the benchmark account was up 3.69%, BKS Bond fund benchmark performance was up 1.46%, and BKS High Yield bond fund benchmark performance was up 6.67% all through January, 2012. All of these performance results include fees, commissions, dividends, and interest.
Balanced Growth Mutual Fund Average return was up 4.99% year-to-date through January, 2012. The S&P 500 Composite was up 4.36%, and the NASDAQ Composite was up 8.01% (excluding a current annualized dividend yield of 2.05% on the S&P 500 Composite). The Dow Jones Industrial Index was up 3.40% (excluding a current annualized dividend yield of 2.52%).
Corporate bonds (Merrill Lynch 10 year plus maturities index) were up 1.54% (excluding current yields of 5.03%), and Long-term Treasury bonds were down 1.44% (excluding current yields of 2.50%).
